About Dan Pape

I am a self-taught photographer based in North Yorkshire, UK. My pictures cover a range of subjects, mostly because I find so many things interesting. The world around me is a constant source of inspiration.

 

Having been interested in photography as a teen I then moved away from it for a few years, until my passion returned while travelling around Europe in 2009. I have since dedicated myself to learning as much as I can on my own and exploring the possibilities of the captured image. The learning curve is infinite, and each time I pick up my camera I strive to create something better than the last..... obsessed? Maybe....

 

I have participated in several group exhibitions locally, and my work has been well received. I have recently taken part in a large exhibition at The Leeds Gallery showcasing talent from all across Yorkshire.
